Why do my plants keep dying on me?

i have some plants (2 gerberas, 1 tulip, 1 miniature rose) in my room which i put near the window pane. i water them everyday and trim them once in a month. but it seems that they are not happy. their leaves turn yellow and they stop flowering.

what should i do?

Why do my plants keep dying on me?
Leaves turning yellow is a 'sure sign' of overwatering.

Make sure you have plenty of root room in the pot and only water once a week by placing your plants in the shower for a few minutes and let all the water drain.

One more thing: some of my plants are doing much better without direct sunlight. for example , my spider plant used to get those little burnt tips ..but not anymore.

Reply:When a plants leaves turn yellow, you are watering too much. If they get leggy and spindly looking, they need more light. Hold down the water to once a week. Only warm water, not cold. Only feed when they are in blooming season,or three times a year. Byee
Reply:Slow down on the water ---- too much.

Reply:looks like too much of water and a lack of direct sunlight. the glass will block all the rays of the sun.
Reply:To make them happy play melodious music close to where they are.......it has been tried with success
Reply:indoor palnts need three things ... water .. sunlight .. plant food .. the yellowing indicates it needs more light ...
