Do gerbera daisies come in purple?

if you find a pic or a link, please include it! Thanks!

Do gerbera daisies come in purple?
there are silks that come in purple but you can easily change the color of white gerbers simply by adding a touch of food coloring to their water! go to the flower shop and buy one or two white gerbers, mix a drop or two of food coloring to make purple and add it to the flower's drinking water, you should be able to see a change in color very quickly!

you can also purchase silks in beautiful shades of mauve, to royal purples!

good luck!
Reply:They do come in purple, but it has a pinkish hue to it.
Reply:Not sure, but I know

they come in HOT PINK
Reply:I don't believe they come in purple, the darkest they come in is a deep reddish color. They do have them in silk.

Reply:Unfortunately, no they don't come in purple. I used to grow those. Unless you're willing to go the artificial route. I've seen them in purple at craft stores:

Edit: I forgot to mention - I don't know what your budget is but there are florists who dye flowers. They can dye the white gerberas purple.
Reply:They come in many colors! and you could definitely find them in purple. Go to your local florist and they will show you different shades of purple.
Reply:I haven't seen any dark purple gerbera daisies, the deep red looks purple.

But you can have the florist spray any flower any color you want so just ask around!

I found a picture of a gerbera daisy listed as "purple!"
Reply:My Aunt was a florist and I used to work in her shop.

You can spray white daisies any color you want.

They come great and we sold tons of them at

Easter.
Reply:Yes, I do believe that they come in purple. Here are a few pictures that I was able to find. Hope it helps :)

Reply:Sorry, I found it highly amusing that people on here do not know the difference between a regular daisy and a GERBERA DAISY. I know that sounds rude, but they didn't answer your question accurately. Since this is my favorite flower I know they do unfortunately do not come in purple. The closest you could get is dark pink. Please, please do not get spray painted daisies...so tacky. That really was a great questions! Cograts!
