Would it be expensive/hard to find gerbera daisys in June from a florsit for a big bat mitzvah party?

As a matter of fact gerbera daisies are in bloom that time of the year. I would go to my small local grower and see if they can order them for me. Here in Pa. they run approx. 1.99 for a 4" pot. You may even try like Home depot, or Lowe's and ask for a special order which I know they can do for you if given the time. Happy planting and congratulations.

No - daisies usually bloom in June. There are lots of varieties - like shasta daisies that are popular. If you are worried about timing and price - why not grow your own? April is the perfect time to start growing seedlings. All you need are some seeds, a bag of soil, a grow-light and some starter boxes for your seeds. You place 5 or 6 seeds in each box and then thin them out after they reach about 1 or 2 inches tall to the best 3. Soon you will have more daisys than you can shake a stick at. If that's indeed what you would like to do. If the flowers don't take or you forget to water them then you can still order them from a florist. Good luck and mazeltov!!
