What is the best environment for gerbera culture?

Sow seeds at 13-18°C (55-64°F) in autumn or early spring, divide in early spring, or top-based cuttings in summer.

In frost-prone climates, grow in temperate greenhouses. Minimum temperature for cultivation is 5°C/ 41°F. They are half hardy to frost tender. Under glass grow in loam-based potting compost, (IJ No. 2) in bright filtered light.

Outdoors grow in moderately fertile, well drained soil in full sun.
