How to make a boutonniere with gerbera daisies?

I've found several ideas of how to make a bout with roses or other kinds of flowers, but nothing specific to gerberas. I've tried a few different ways, but it always looks odd. Help please!

I recommend using a wire wrap. cut the daisy stem off about half an inch. take the florist wire (about five inches long) and stick it sideways trough the bottom of the flower head and bend it down so that end stays. Now, wrap the wire around the flower mount and leave it hanging. Then take florist green tape and, as you tug it to make it a bit sticky, evenly roll it round and round the base and then the wire itself. Gerbers aren't a tp coice for boutonnieres because the like water. But, they are very pretty. You can also add other flowers to the wrapp and twist them alog with the gerber. Turn up the end like a candy cane and add a large pin for attaching and there you go!
